This interesting tourism event is held in November and brings you the region’s extraordinary flavours where the leading restaurants offer a diverse menu based on mouth-watering dishes made with the local mushrooms. The event’s main highlight is the Tapas Route “Coria Sabor Micológico” that seeks to promote the culture of enjoying excellent tapas with family and friends. The extensive catalogue of activities includes conferences on mycology, the Mediterranean diet and products, and agroecology, in addition to mushroom walks through the fields of Dehesa Boyal de Mínguez, exhibitions and taxonomic classification of the collected mushrooms, as well as guided tours of the Historic Centre that offers distinctive autumn flavours and aromas of Extremadura’s fertile lands in a safe, peaceful and sustainable environment.
