Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Junot arriva jusqu&#8217;aux portes de Coria, la d\u00e9vastant et d\u00e9vastant ses champs, lorsqu\u2019il la trouva sur son chemin lors de la campagne men\u00e9e \u00e0 bien pour conqu\u00e9rir l\u2019Estr\u00e9madure en 1811, pendant la guerre d&#8217;Ind\u00e9pendance (1808-1813).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, ce ne sera pas la derni\u00e8re confrontation que cette ville mill\u00e9naire dut subir car, apr\u00e8s l&#8217;abolition de la doctrine absolutiste au profit des id\u00e9es lib\u00e9rales r\u00e9volutionnaires du XIXe si\u00e8cle, Coria et son parti v\u00e9curent les \u00e9pisodes malheureux de la Guerre civile espagnole (1936-1939). Cependant, l&#8217;histoire actuelle nous r\u00e9v\u00e8le maintenant d&#8217;autres donn\u00e9es plus encourageantes sur cette ville dont la cr\u00e9ation remonte \u00e0 des mill\u00e9naires et qui sait unir son pass\u00e9 historique avec un pr\u00e9sent dynamique et entreprenant, pour devenir un centre attractif et florissant qui cherche, au moyen de l&#8217;industrialisation et du tourisme, un essor \u00e9conomique d\u00e9finitif afin de promouvoir et d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer le statut socio-\u00e9conomique de la population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
