It further takes you to the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/turismocoria.es\/turismo\/en\/enjoy-a-walk-in-nature\/tamujal-riverside-park\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"7888\">Tamujal Riverside Park<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, a natural area for walking and relaxation located on the right bank of the Alag\u00f3n River, where you can appreciate the rich flora of the riverside forest. From here, the route leads you to an asphalted road that ascends through orchards and fertile irrigated fields, until you reach the top to look down towards the millenary <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/turismocoria.es\/turismo\/en\/sights-you-absolutely-shouldnt-skip\/historic-centre\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8115\">Historic Centre<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and the Urban Area of Coria. Once you have gone all the way around, with the Cathedral and the Castle always in the background, you will return to the starting point of the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ethnographic Tour:<\/strong> Viewing the magnificent monuments of the Historic Centre of the City of Coria, declared Cultural Heritage of Spain (Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural) in the Historical Complex category: 16th-19th century Hospital of St. Nicholas of Bari (Hospital de San Nicol\u00e1s de Bari), 15th century Castle of the Dukes of Alba (Castillo de los Duques de Alba), 1st century Roman City Walls, 15th-16th century Palace of the Dukes of Alba (Palacio Ducal de Alba), 15th-18th century Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption (Catedral de Santa Mar\u00eda de la Asunci\u00f3n), 17th-19th century Conciliar College-Seminary (Colegio Seminario Conciliar) and 16th century Stone Bridge (Puente de Piedra).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ecological Tour:<\/strong> The riverbanks, agricultural fields and grasslands (irrigated), along with the Mediterranean forest and scrubland (pasture), share an ecosystem with rural species, and the typical riparian species of the riverside forest as well as the Mediterranean forest and scrubland, including predatory species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fact Sheet:<\/strong> Type of Route: Linear.
