Depuis lors, sans interruption, on parle de son organisation et de son service, contigu \u00e0 sa droite avec l&#8217;Ancien Consistoire primitif et en face de l&#8217;\u00e9glise de Santiago. On lui attribua au milieu du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle 15 verges de long et 13 verges de fond, selon le Cadastre d&#8217;Ensenada. Il avait en outre deux \u00e9tages, comme nous le rappelle la Visite de l&#8217;Audience royale d&#8217;Estr\u00e9madure de 1791.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un immeuble qui, en raison de son joli aspect, fit parfois office d\u2019h\u00f4tel de ville en raison du mauvais \u00e9tat du b\u00e2timent principal. Il fut m\u00eame parfois utilis\u00e9 pour la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de certains \u00e9v\u00e9nements publics divertissants, et comme centre municipal d&#8217;\u00e9ducation des adultes. Aujourd\u2019hui, comme on peut le voir, il a subi une transformation totale : n\u2019ont \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9s que les vestiges architecturaux et h\u00e9raldiques de l&#8217;ancienne fa\u00e7ade, en plus de deux salles vo\u00fbt\u00e9es et d&#8217;une jolie citerne. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconverti en biblioth\u00e8que publique municipale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9crivain Rafael S\u00e1nchez Ferlosio, pour son lien avec la ville de
