Dans les environs se trouvait l&#8217;ancien Ermitage de Notre Dame du Carmen, aujourd\u2019hui disparu, d\u2019o\u00f9 le nom du faubourg et de la porte susmentionn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"margin-bottom-50\">Du point de vue structurel, en coupant les pierres de taille du rempart, elle est sans doute la porte la plus sobre des quatre conserv\u00e9es, avec de simples arcs en plein cintre chanfrein\u00e9s recouverts \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur d&#8217;une vo\u00fbte en demi-berceau enduite de mortier de chaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
