These riverbanks offer an ideal setting for recreational fishing and water sports in the several kilometres of inland coast that make up these calm waters that converge in the enormous Alc\u00e1ntara Dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located south of the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/turismocoria.es\/turismo\/en\/city-of-coria\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"7818\">City of Coria<\/a><\/span><\/strong> bordering the Alag\u00f3n Valley region, together with the Sierra de Santa Marina mountain range that divides the municipalities of Ca\u00f1averal, Pedroso de Ac\u00edm and Portezuelo, these lands are considered as important natural enclaves. For centuries, they have preserved a substantial historic-artistic legacy that has been responsible for the development of local cultural tourism.
