Ambiental.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ubicado en el que fuera antiguo Vivero del decano Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas que serv\u00eda para surtir con olmos y acacias la ya extinguida y prohibida costumbre de plantar hileras de \u00e1rboles sobre los m\u00e1rgenes de las cunetas de la viejas carreteras, se encuentra el hermoso Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Coria que alberga, en sus 1,5 hect\u00e1reas, una rica colecci\u00f3n de la flora representativa del bosque mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un coqueto Centro de Interpretaci\u00f3n de la Flora Mediterr\u00e1nea compuesta por el encinar, el alcornocal, el robledal o los bosques de ribera que, abierto oficialmente al p\u00fablico el 3 de abril de 1995, sirve para educar, medioambientalmente, a infinidad de escolares, asociacionistas, instituciones, bot\u00e1nicos, viveristas y resto de personas que, a diario, visitan estas instalaciones en las que poder ver el enorme <em>Platanus hispanica<\/em> de 30 metros de altura y unos 130 a\u00f1os de edad, declarado \u00e1rbol singular de Extremadura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-5 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
