S\u00edmbolos inequ\u00edvocos de una ciudad con m\u00e1s de dos milenios de historia ininterrumpida fraguada por los distintos pueblos que se asentaron por estas ricas tierras de vega: vettones, romanos, visigodos, \u00e1rabes, jud\u00edos y cristianos, en las que dejaron diseminadas su impronta y sus huellas por cada uno de los evocadores rincones de su coqueto Casco Hist\u00f3rico, declarado Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural con categor\u00eda de Conjunto Hist\u00f3rico, lo que la convierten en uno de los n\u00facleos m\u00e1s antiguos de la f\u00e9rtil Extremadura y el noveno de toda Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"margin-bottom-50\"><br>En definitiva, un apacible y reposado paseo por las silenciosas callejuelas, plazas y plazuelas que describen el trazado irregular medieval de la ciudad intramuros, nos permitir\u00e1 descubrir asimismo, desde la arcaica estructura de su trazado antiguo, hasta sus tradiciones y los distintos episodios de la historia del municipio que quedan, en parte, atestiguados por el magn\u00edfico Conjunto Monumental que atesora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-5 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1
