XVI-XVII)<\/em><\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns margen-izquierdo-50 margen-derecho-50 margin-top-50 is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>Antiguos muros conventuales que proyectan el silencio monacal y la buena reposter\u00eda artesanal de la cocina religiosa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fundado en el siglo XIII por las religiosas Franciscanas Observantes de la Tercera Orden Regular, el actual Convento de la Madre de Dios fue reconstruido quiz\u00e1s a finales del siglo XV cerrando una parte del lateral de la calle Monjas, advocaci\u00f3n que toma de dicha residencia profesa, sobre la que destaca la Iglesia levantada sobre gruesos muros de mamposter\u00eda en los que se abren grandes ventanales vidriados y una bella portada goticista que es rematada por una peque\u00f1a hornacina que aloja la imagen p\u00e9trea de la Madre de Dios con el Ni\u00f1o; mientras que los laterales de las calles Moros y del Rey presentan, en parte, hiladas verdugadas en ladrillo sobre las que se disponen una reiterada serie de vanos enrejados distribuidos en dos filas en altura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"margin-bottom-50\">Al interior, la Iglesia muestra planta rectangular abovedada con b\u00f3vedas de aristas, bajo la que se disponen tres interesantes retablos barrocos dieciochescos. Mientras que el coqueto y sencillo claustro g\u00f3tico-renacentista de factura mud\u00e9jar de principios del siglo XVI tiene, en su decorativo pavimento de finos rollos de r\u00edo, su m\u00e1s preciado tesoro. Adem\u00e1s, la Comunidad es famosa por el exquisito saber hacer de las religiosas en la elaboraci\u00f3n de sus artesanales dulces conventuales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
