wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\"><strong>Arc\u00f3n de fe y cultura convertida en s\u00edmbolo capital de la Historia del Arte en Extremadura declarada Monumento Hist\u00f3rico-Art\u00edstico Nacional, el 6 de junio de 1931.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este grandioso templo g\u00f3tico-plateresco con a\u00f1adidos barrocos, cuyas obras se prolongaron desde finales del siglo XV hasta concluir definitivamente en el siglo XVIII dando lugar a una interesante superposici\u00f3n de estilos a lo largo de su complicada historia como consecuencia de su compleja y dilatada biograf\u00eda constructiva, se levanta majestuosamente en la parte sur de la Ciudad de Coria, justo en lo que fue el lienzo meridional de la antigua Muralla Romana, sobre los restos de las primitivas bas\u00edlicas visigoda y rom\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"margin-bottom-50\">Monumental f\u00e1brica de canter\u00eda gran\u00edtica convertida en todo un arc\u00f3n espiritual en el que se conjugan: la historia y el arte, con la fe y la cultura, que presenta planta rectangular de tipo sal\u00f3n a la que se une un estrech\u00edsimo crucero bajo cuyas b\u00f3vedas de crucer\u00eda estrellada se eleva su m\u00e1s ferviente pasado sobre el conjunto de dependencias catedralicias que la completan, caso de su torre-campanario, salas, capillas y claustro, en el que se localiza el Museo de Arte Sacro que atesora un abundante legado de riquezas art\u00edsticas, documentales y espirituales destacando, por encima de todas, el <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/turismocoria.es\/turismo\/el-sagrado-mantel-de-la-ultima-cena\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1176\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sagrado Mantel de
